It is a minority university — it is for everyone. It's not that it's built only for Muslims, or that Azam Khan built it for his own family. Many of his emotional statements, his emotional speeches, have gone viral on social media since this notice came. Bulldozers are running everywhere. This is happening everywhere — it is, in a way, an attempt to change the very structure of the country.

As active as Dimple Yadav is, as active as Akhilesh Yadav is, or all the other MPs — I see them in Delhi, I don't see them here. What's the reason? Do you have a complaint too?

I think all these questions should be asked of the party's MPs and MLAs — only they can say why they haven't come here.

So you do have a complaint?

No, I have no complaint.

But why?

Because I have seen and felt this before, on other occasions too.

Does Azam Khan sahab's situation also suit the party? Because if he were here, he would have his own voice.

Behind Azam sahab's arrest, one reason was that he had to be arrested, had to go to jail. But there was also an intention, in a way, to humiliate him. The Samajwadi Party MP from Rampur — I saw one news report — he came up to the university gate, and the police did not let him enter, and after that he left. So has their objective been achieved? I won't say anything about them, because when Azam sahab went to jail, his own words were that he had not gone to jail, but to a reform home.
