Operation Sindoor: Consequences No One Expected

"Operation Sindoor may have lasted only four days—but its geopolitical consequences are still unfolding."

Full Transcript

Operation Sindoor, the fighting, was only four days long. But after those four days of fighting, America made a decision — which they have written in their own US Congress report of 2025 — that in this four-day clash, Pakistan performed better than India. The result of that was that at the end of 2025, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a defence agreement. Remember, it is not as though Pakistan and Saudi Arabia's military relations did not exist before this — they have existed since the seventies. But this was the first time that a formal defence agreement between them took place. That means Pakistani soldiers will now be present in West Asia. After that, you will see, this fighting began. As soon as this fighting began, what happened? Pakistan first became a facilitator. Why did it become a facilitator? Because of Pakistan's Sindoor, in which Sindoor played a very big role, their relations with America became very good — with President Trump. Remember, President Trump invited Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, for lunch in June 2025 — a one-on-one lunch at the White House. Talks took place. So, as you're pointing out, Pakistan today is a country whose relations with all three major powers in a multipolar world are good, and it is a country that every regional power now understands — they now understand that in terms of military capabilities, as shown by Sindoor, Pakistan is not lacking. And then they also understood that Pakistan has the will to fight a war.
