Ma'am, I am an ex-student here — I did my B.Ed from here, and these girls sitting here are my students. They came here themselves. For four days I had been choking inside, thinking: I am a sociology teacher — what will I teach these people? That revolutions just keep happening like this? When there was talk of my own college being demolished, I was here teaching in my school at home. So this education — I never even implemented it in my own life. Today, this university — it is not a structure. It is our emotion.
When you chose Jauhar University, why did you choose it?
Ma'am, the biggest reason is that there is no university in Rampur. That's why we are Jauhar University. And the biggest thing is — because there's no university here, we cannot go outside.

Are you scared?
Yes, ma'am — ma'am, this university is not being demolished. I mean, it's all of our dreams that are being demolished.
