Without Jauhar University, I Wouldn't Be a Doctor I A Testimony

"If this university had not existed, I would not be where I am today."

Full Transcript

Today, as a doctor in a hospital, I treat the public — all the people who are suffering. I am a gynaecologist, and I work at a hospital near Rampur. I have come here from there today. When I took admission here and passed out from here, I studied at very low fees, and I left here well-placed. If this university had not been here, perhaps I would not have been successful today. I am the first student of the first batch in this Paramedical Department, and alhamdulillah I am on a good platform — and at such low cost. Because if today's children go to some of our schools in Rampur, like Modi, Green Board, White Hall, they pay heavily from the time of admission in LKG, UKG itself. With the money we spent, we completed our whole education here. You can understand, ma'am. My sister was with me — she has done pharmacy from here, she's now doing her MBBS. My brother is in Norway, he's an engineer and scientist, he has reached great heights through his research. So we should keep our political matters to ourselves — this is ours, our emotions are connected to it.

This is a university where children of single parents, or those who have lost both parents, are supported. Ma'am, in the case of a single parent, 50% of the fees are waived. If both parents have passed away, 100% of the fees are waived. This is one such university, ma'am. And the best thing is that it's not only Muslims who study here — people of all religions are treated equally.
