Evidence from a Large-Scale Household Survey in Jamia Nagar, Delhi

A household survey of roughly 2,700 families and nearly 3,900 children aged 3–18 in South-East Delhi, examining enrollment, dropout, school type, spending, scholarships, and foundational learning in Urdu, English, and Mathematics. Finds high enrollment and strong educational aspiration alongside structural gaps in public provisioning.
